My Best Wedding Photography from Dearborn's Historic and
Flexible Wedding Venue, the Dearborn Inn in Dearborn, Michigan.

Lauren and Matt's wedding and their wedding reception were at the Dearborn Inn. They started their days by getting ready at the Dearborn Inn in separate suites. We then headed outside to the amazing Dearborn Inn's garden area which is ringed by the hotel on one side and a bunch of historic cottages on the other side. One of my favorite things about the Dearborn Inn as a wedding venue is that it offers a nice blend of historic charm and elegance so you can play up the one that you like and downplay the parts of the venue that don't speak to you as much.

Like many spring weddings in Michigan, Lauren and Matt were hoping for great weather since their Dearborn Inn wedding was planned for their outdoors garden space. It's also nice to be able to take advantage or the Inn's beautiful and historic Dearborn wedding venue as it looks very much like an English garden for much of the spring and summer. Lauren and Matt did not want to see each other before their wedding even though their wedding and reception was in the same location. Most couples feel quite strongly about this, so we did all of the family photos afterwards in the garden area with all of their wedding guests watching us!

I really should have pulled more wedding photos from their Dearborn Inn wedding reception, but I've got quite a few Dearborn Inn weddings featured here in my mini album section and hate to repeat myself too much! It's a lovely venue that photographs well (and does absolutely need a lot of off camera lighting to do it justice). This was a fun and happy group of people to play with at the Dearborn Inn.
