Sorry for the run on sentence&#8230; there was a lot to include about this specific proposal and engagement photography shoot! Well&#8230; she hems and haws and starts plotting, of course!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1972\" src=\"https:\/\/marcicurtis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Michigan-Proposal-0001.jpg\" alt=\"Michigan Proposal 0001\" width=\"4256\" height=\"2832\" srcset=\"https:\/\/marcicurtis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Michigan-Proposal-0001.jpg 4256w, https:\/\/marcicurtis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Michigan-Proposal-0001-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/marcicurtis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Michigan-Proposal-0001-1024x681.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 4256px) 100vw, 4256px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the skinny&#8230; I brought my son along so I could shoot him (he needed his theater head shots updated anyways) so that I wouldn&#8217;t be standing there freezing AND doing nothing! Here&#8217;s the resulting headshot I shot while I wasn&#8217;t &#8220;shooting&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1973\" src=\"https:\/\/marcicurtis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Detroit-headshot-photographer-1.jpg\" alt=\"Detroit headshot photographer 1\" width=\"652\" height=\"979\" srcset=\"https:\/\/marcicurtis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Detroit-headshot-photographer-1.jpg 652w, https:\/\/marcicurtis.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Detroit-headshot-photographer-1-199x300.jpg 199w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 652px) 100vw, 652px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It was freezing cold and Michael wasn&#8217;t sure the plane was coming after all, so he dropped to his knee and proposed (without the plane, mind you). I took the photo and after introducing myself, made quick work of the plane circling around. NOT photojournalism per say, but I was able to create the photo Michael had in his mind.
