Here's my Detroit, Michigan wedding photographer's gallery of "Epic Wedding Day Portraits". I have a zillion photos to share with you. After so many years, I clearly have a lot of wedding photos I absolutely love and I want to share those with you. Here are some of my favorite "epic photos". These are created in the moment during the wedding day on the fly. It's about taking advantage of the light, the weather, the surroundings, the couple's personality and a lot of other things that just aren't tangible. Every wedding is unique, so all the epic photos end up being tailored to the couple and what opportunities the day presents. While almost all of my clients hire me for my candid, behind the scenes moments and sneaky peek wedding photojournalism, I also know that these epic wedding portraits are the ones that will end up on their walls!
Every wedding presents a vista, a cool weather element, crazy lighting or something that begs to be included into your wedding day portraits. They are often part of the storytelling part of the day, but also celebrate you in that moment at the venue. I never know what it's going to be, but am always on the lookout for that special (often fleeting) thing that we can use to create a unique piece of fabulous artwork that celebrates you.
