Marci is Worth Every Penny

Marci isn't just wildly talented, she's friendly, organized, and incredibly kind! She even drove us down the road to our wedding venue when we decided to attend cocktail hour at the last minute. We chose her specifically because we wanted great, candid photos. Even though we only spent a very short amount of time "posing," we ended up with almost a thousand great photos. So grateful for Marci!

Detroit, Michigan Based Lifestyle And Natural Wedding Day Photography

Lifestyle photography has become a bit of a buzzword and catch all for meaning "it looks natural". Advertisers use this word to mean ads that are scripted, but look like the photographer/videographer just stumbled on it. Basically, in this context, it's another word for candid moments, but I've also thrown in a few of my favorite more styled poses that did happen naturally. They are all found quickly to take advantage of great light, whatever weather we're presented with and the personalities of the couple. I hope you enjoy these quick snapshots from my "lifestyle weddings" section in my portfolio.

Lifestyle photography also means that your wedding day can move swiftly without tons of downtime to light things, or set things up. Personally, it takes me about 30 seconds to light things to look like there isn't any light. I leave a small footprint so I'm not interrupting. I want YOUR personalities to shine through using YOUR body language. All I need to do is be patient and quiet enough to let nature and moments happen.

Thanks for your patience and hope you'll check out more galleries while you're here.

Marci is an amazing photographer. Everyone comments how good they looked and how good we look. She helped us get pictures of our cat, sunset photos, and night time photos. She also came in clutch when I needed a hair pin for my veil and sunscreen. We would highly recommend Marci!!!
